For me…it all boils down to “the content of their character”. That immediately eliminates Newt.
This is the same guy (along with his buddy Ken Starr) who led the impeachment proceedings against Bill Clinton while he was cheating on his wife. What’s really scary about this video clip, more than anything else, is the audience gave him standing ovations! I realize it’s a room full of Republicans…but that still scares the shit out of me! I know this is South Carolina…and that’s a whole ‘ nother story…but a standing ovation for this hypocrite, serial adulterer and defender of the sanctity of marriage is just unbelievable. Damn!
