When you describe someone you know | love | hold dear...to someone else...do the positives that proceed the word "BUT" far outweigh the negatives that follow the word "BUT"? (see BUT entry below)
When describing my Aunt Helene...there are definitely no BUTs about it! She's a kind, giving, loving person. She was a nurse at Bellevue Hospital in New York City (for decades); volunteered at soup kitchens; donated time & money to so many worthy causes...we've lost count. Absolutely no "BUTs" about her! All who know her...love her for the great person that she is! We need more Aunt Helene's in this world!
My Mom didn't have any "BUTs" about her either. Although some may say..."BUT"..."she tiptoed through the tulips". But...what's wrong with that? I'll take that any day to take my mind away from this often crazy world we live in.
Bring on the Tulips!
Consider youself fortunate if you have any people in your life that have no BUTs!
