My daughter and son-in-law live in Munich, Germany. I'm told that Munich is about a 12 hour drive to the southern shores of Croatia. We just received a postcard from them!
And I quote....
"Put it on your to do list, in capital letters: CROATIA! I'm telling you. Forget St. Martin, Turks & Caicos. Take your Jamaica money and start browsing the web for flights because OHMYGOD it's breathtaking."
If nothing else...I think it's time for a trip to Munich...with a side trip to Croatia?
