Happy (???) Memorial Day???
- Vietnam - Over 58,000 lives lost...and now it's a top tourist destination for Americans!
- Afghanistan - Over 2,000 killed and almost 19,000 wounded!
- Irag (aka...WMD) - Almost 4,500 killed and over THIRTY THOUSAND wounded!
I'm really sadden about those who lost their lives in the insanity of war!
I sure ain't Happy today!

Can't wait 'til January 21st 2016!
I'm sick of all the talk about taking back America! Taking it back from who? Taking it back to where? Then there's all the criticism about the President's policies! But they never mention the exact policies that they are criticizing! It's all the generalities exaxcerbated by FOX news!
President Obama stepped into a bag of sh*t left at the front door of the White House upon Dubya's departure! Here is what this man has accomplished (in spite of Mitch McConnell declaring that his primary mission was to make President Obama a one term President)!:
- Avoided a full depression!
- Kept alive the American auto industry!
- Oversaw the creation of more jobs in 2010 alone than Dubya did in eight years (with Mitch McConnell's wife as Secretary of Labor)!
- Has the current unemployment rate below 6%!
- Has the Dow Jones above 17,000! It has increased 121% since President Obama took office! (I know a whole lotta folks are still hurtin' but there are a whole lotta folks with 401k's smilin'!)
- Got Osama Bin Laden!
- Has provided for the lowest increase in health care cost in the last 50 years because of the Affordable Care Act!
- Has reduced the federal budget deficit from 9.8% of GDP in Fiscal Year 2009 under Bush, to 2.9% of GDP in FY 2014. We're talking over ONE TRILLION dollars!
- Led the country to 64 consecutive months of economic expansion, eclipsing Saint Reagan’s record, by far.
- Has dragged us out of Dubya's wars that cost the taxpayers trillions of dollars!
But then again here are those "policies" (facts?) that the right wing wackos just can't get over:
- President Obama got rid of DADT (Don't Ask, Don't Tell) Gays in the military! OUCH!
- President Obama supports same sex marriage!
- President Obama was born in Kenya!
- President Obama can't verify his birth certificate! (Just ask Donald Trump!)
- ...and last, but not least...President Obama is a NIGGER!!!

Dick(HEAD) Cheney...WAR CRIMINAL!!!
Per Mr. Dick(HEAD)...
My 2 cents...
WMD (Weapons of Mass Destruction)? NO! Halilburton? Yes!
You, Rumsfield and Dubya ought to be charged with war crimes!

Gitmo Taliban Detainees: Obama=5; Dubya=500+
Source below from: Americans Against the Tea Party
He’s being accused of endangering America. They’re calling for hearings to investigate his actions. All of this outrage over five men.
If the release of five men is such a crime, what about the release of close to 600? You would think that would be considered a much bigger threat to our country, but you’d be wrong. Why? Because it was done by a Republican, and they surely believe that anything they do is for the good of the country.
Between 2007 and 2009, President George W. Bush released 520 detainees from the facility at Guantanamo Bay – at least that’s how many are officially recorded. One of those detainees was Abu Sufian bin Qumu, who is a suspect in the Benghazi embassy attack.
The strangest part of this story is that despite official White House documents and news articles detailing Bush’s actions, people continue to deny that he has negotiated with terrorists. Apparently his negotiations with Iraqi insurgents, Iran and North Korea never made it into the Republican history books."
Photo below from the cover of this week's Time Magazine. Haven't read the article yet, but here's a teaser from Time's website...
"If every soldier were brave in battle, we wouldn’t need a word for valor. Yet generals since the time of Saul have confronted the problem of breakdown and desertion. The eminent military historian John Keegan, in his masterpiece The Face of Battle, quoted U.S. military authorities who concluded after World War II that “there is no such thing as ‘getting used to combat’...Psychiatric casualties are as inevitable as gunshot and shrapnel wounds.” Some soldiers deal with the pressure by running away—or worse, by switching sides. Which is why Stalin kept a significant share of his guns pointed at the rear of his own army. When President Obama stepped into the Rose Garden on May 31 to announce..."

Mitch McConnell...Weakest Victory in 75 Years!!!
SOURCE
OK...let's not pop the champagne just yet! But, if Ms. Alison Grimes wins in November...I will get so drunk! Tears will flow! I will begin to think that even the folks in Kentucky get it!
PS...Mrs. McConnell...aka, Elaine Chao, was Secretary of Labor under Dubya's regime! Hundreds of thousands of jobs were lost back then...but nobody's asking!!!

Carter & Clinton...and then there's dubbya!
James Earl Carter
As president of the United States, Jimmy Carter was deeply committed to social justice and basic human rights. He and his wife Rosalynn left the White House in search of meaningful ways to contribute in these areas. In addition to promoting peace and human rights through the nonprofit Carter Center in Atlanta, they lead the Jimmy and Rosalynn Carter Work Project for Habitat for Humanity International one week each year.
"The mission of the Clinton Global Initiative (CGI) is to turn ideas into action."
William Jefferson Clinton
Established in 2005 by President Bill Clinton, the Clinton Global Initiative (CGI) convenes global leaders to create and implement innovative solutions to the world's most pressing challenges. CGI Annual Meetings have brought together more than 150 heads of state, 20 Nobel Prize laureates, and hundreds of leading CEOs, heads of foundations and NGOs, major philanthropists, and members of the media.
Then there's dubbya...
...the budding artist!

John McCain versus Chuck Hagel
But I digress. Back in his 2000 Presidential Campaign, Mr. McCain thought that Chuck Hagel would be an excellent candidate for Secretary of Defense...but that was over twelve years ago!
Hagel and Senator John McCain were close friends until 2007 when they diverged regarding Iraq policy. In November 2007, Hagel rated the Bush administration "the lowest in capacity, in capability, in policy, in consensus - almost every area" of any presidency in the last forty years. Hagel did not endorse McCain for President in 2008 in the primaries or the general election. When Hagel was nominated for Secretary of Defense just a few weeks ago, McCain said he had "serious concerns" about Hagel's positions on national security issues.
I'm so sick of this sh*t! I really am. I hope America wakes up to this bullsh*t! I really do...but I'm afraid they won't!

Isaac! You missed Tampa!
But here we are in Tampa sans Isaac. I’m watching the 1st day of the RNC as I’m typing this. Where is George Bush? No mention of him! Nowhere to be found? An uninvited guest??? Question marks unnecessary! A message from the current Republican regime...Dear George...stay as far away from Tampa as humanly possible...and however far that is...it ain’t far enough!
But wait a minute. Isaac even pushed “The Donald” off the agenda. Supposedly, “The Donald’s”” surprise skit of firing President Obama (ala the Apprentice) was supposed to happen on Monday night...but, as you know Isaac squashed that!
Aside from George and “The Donald”...who else is missing from the Tampa festivities? Are you folks trying to avoid the teabaggers that got you there...but you don’t want them there?
Hello Herman, Michelle and Sarah. Where are you? I thought you would be there to emphasize the fact that the President is a Muslim, a nigger, born in Kenya. I’ve also noticed that my favorites...McConnell, Cantor and Boehner have been hiding for the last several weeks. Is this just a coincidence...or is this just me? Yeah…I know Boehner kicked off tonight’s festivities, but where has he been for the last several weeks?
Okay...now back to your nominees. Question...Mitt...will I ever see your tax returns? My family is from Bermuda. I’ve had the pleasure of vacationing in the Cayman Islands, one of the most beautiful islands on earth. Hell...I’ve even had the good fortune to visit Zermatt, Switzerland! However, I ain’t got no money hidden in any of these places!
One more question for Mr. Ryan. Will you or your running mate or someone please explain the difference between you and Mr. Aiken?
Again…I’m just askin’

Ryan: "Obama Closed the GM plant!"
"And as it became clear in early-fall 2008 that GM wouldn't relent, Ryan publicly touted the federal tax money he secured to help displaced workers -- a use of funds that would seem at odds with his limited-government, fiscal conservative image."
Full story at the Huffington Post.
I need to check my facts...but I think Mr. Ryan was on the House Budget Committee when Mr. Bush decided to invade Afghanistan and go after "Weapons of Mass Destruction"...neither of which were in the budget. But now he's a deficit hawk! Unbelievable...but given the intelligence of the American electorate...still electable!

G. W.’s official portrait unveiled!
Probably not. Unless, that is, you are George W. Bush.
The official portrait of the 43rd president of the United States by Austin, Texas, painter John Howard Sanden was unveiled at a White House ceremony on Thursday. In it, Bush's face is shown right next to one of his favorite paintings, which hangs over his right shoulder on an Oval Office wall. Below the painting his hand rests on a chair-back sporting a golden imperial laurel wreath, ancient symbol of triumph (not included in this shot).
Now, thanks to his official portrait, "43" will stare into space for eternity next to a picture of an apparent criminal who is heading for the hills.
Mission accomplished (but that's a whole 'nother story)!
